SYNOPSIS: Jan-Michael Vincent plays the great Matt Johnson, a God among surfers
who's fallen on hard times due to his drinking habit. The film opens with Matt falling down drunk however with
the help of his friends, Leroy (Gary Busey), Jack (William Katt) and girlfriend Peggy (Lee Purcell) he tries to
recoup the surfing glory he once had. The three main actors Jan-Michael, Gary and William are all accomplished
surfers in real life and did many of their own surfing in the movie with the help of some of the greats such as
Gerry Lopez. In the end Matt Johnson redeems himself when he surfs through the Great Swell and lives to tell about it.
