Chris Kobin, producer of such films as Driftwood and Payback, has contacted Defiance about his new project - a documentary about the interesting relationship between Hollywood and surfing. Sam George is the writer and Greg MacGillivray is directing. Amongst others, the film will include a good look at the film Big Wednesday. MacGillivray was second unit on Big Wednesday. Kobin has also recruted most of the original cast of Big Wednesday as well as its director John Milius. The only part of it that is missing in a big way is Jan. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Jan will resurface once again and good luck to Chris with this project. We hope that he will keep us posted.
