REVIEW BY LORRAINE BEASLEY 19.12.05

This movie is meant to be based on a story by Edgar Alan Poe, but as I haven't read it, I can't comment.
The movie is about a bored housewife who having lost her father, lives in fear of being buried alive, dreaming night after night. Her husband is having an affair with a woman he works with and is seriously considering bumping his wife off so that he can inherit the house that she inherited when her father died.
Jan Michael Vincent plays a cop?! Who sits in his car most of the day and night watching the house, smoking and drinking beer (and being extremely obvious) but as the movie progresses, it appears that he actually works for some kind of Mafioso who is waiting for the husband to pay off a huge debt to him.
Jan Michael Vincent still looks good here, although he isn't in the movie nearly enough.
Scary movie?
Not really - not a serious 'horror flick' it is still quite entertaining in parts.

Score out of 10 - 7
